He was surprised because he can finally try the 333th round of the Mortal Mill. Before this, he was not even able to do that.

But after checking this, he paused. Now is not the time for that.

He looked at his Soul Lord realm and realised that it was already at the third stage of Soul Lord. He was slightly stunned but then he sensed the changes in his soul mark and noticed that there were three nodes already present.

He only needed to comprehend them to advance. There is also a perfection realm which is only for one in a million and Jin wanted to be one of them.

After checking this, he focused on his spiritual power and stopped looking into his soul power because time is limited.

He called out his Soul Born outside and looked at this black form. The soul born has its eyes closed. Jin also knows the reason for that. He looked at the seal on the forehead of the soul born and then he looked at the halo that appeared behind his soul born.

Jin closed his eyes and once again followed the same process.

Moonfern and the clone of the ancient tree waited outside but then the old man spoke,

"Why has that little guy not come outside? Has something happened to him?"

Just as he was about to check through his divine sense, Nox spoke,

"He is fine and he broke through completely in the soul lord realm. He is indeed following the second path.

I am his contract beast and I can sense every fluctuation around him."

The other two were stunned when they heard that. The old man sighed but then he asked once again,

"Since he chose the second path, his future hurdles will be difficult but why is he still inside?"

Nox hesitated for a moment before speaking,

"He is breaking in the spiritual transformation realm altogether."

The old man paused and as he comprehended the meaning behind those words, his eyes went wide and he looked at Nox for confirmation. Moonfern was also stunned when she heard that. The old man spoke,

"But how is that possible? No one in this universe is able to take both the paths till the end."

Nox remained silent just like before but the piercing gaze of the other two made it impossible to remain silent. He sighed and spoke,

"Jin succeeded in that but the price he paid was also great. Unlike others. He is also walking on this path right now and only succeeds halfway because there is no one to guide him."

Hearing this both the old man and Moonfern became silent. After sometime, the old man spoke,

"This little guy is really the greatest talent I have ever seen in my entire life."

Nox did not reply because he was already aware of this fact and he simply looked at the place where Jin was cultivating.

Jin dissolved his soul and the spiritual pressure around him became strong. When he opened his eyes once again, he looked around him and saw that he arrived in the mysterious space once again but this one is different from the past one.

Here, everything is surrounded by black and there are no laws and no nodes to comprehend. Just then he saw a massive pupil.

Jin was stunned. The pupil slowly became small and then Jin saw the entire creature. It was none other than his grandpa.

He sighed and spoke,

"Grandpa, you scared me. But where are the nodes and laws in this space? And where is this?"

The huge black serpent spoke,

"This is the supreme law space that belongs to me. This is the place which leads all my laws and my nodes. How to comprehend depends on you. I can only guide you; the future path you took will depend on you."

Jin was stunned when he heard that. He looked around him but he couldn’t sense any laws or nodes. He looked puzzled and asked,

"But I can’t sense any laws or nodes in this space."

The snake hissed slightly and spoke,

"Child, tell me what is the law of devouring and what it can be."

Jin was stunned. He thought for a moment before he spoke,

"There is nothing in this universe that cannot be devoured. As long as I have the capacity, I can devour everything for me or I can explode if I can’t devour it."

The snake nodded but then he shook his head and spoke,

"Indeed. What you said is right but the concept you think is too vague. The devouring is not limited to that.

As long as your devouring is superior, it can devour time, space, karma, reincarnation, universe laws and everything beyond the universe."

Jin was stunned. He looked at the huge black serpent and there was shock in his eyes. Although he didn’t know some things that his grandfather mentioned, he can still understand the meaning behind those words.

He remained silent for some time and then he asked,

"Then, what is the law or devouring and how to reach it?"

The serpent laughed slightly and spoke,

"I am the progenitor of devouring. If anyone wants to follow this path, they need my approval first.

But I never thought to comprehend the devouring laws and the nodes and so on."

Jin was once again stunned but then he heard the serpent spoke,

"Because I am the law myself. Wherever I take my step, the laws of devouring form there. If I want, I can create the law of devouring in this universe and then gain merit.

But I don’t care about that because if I want, I can devour the merits. I am the law of devouring and the law of devouring is me."

Jin seemed to comprehend something. He nodded at the serpent and sat in a meditative position. He closed his eyes and the same words of his grandfather repeated in his mind.

Unknown to him, he was already on the outside world and left the mysterious space of devouring.

As he comprehended the law of devouring. He only kept muttering,

’I am on a path to devour itself.’

And some unknown energy dots surrounded him. As the energy dots became more and more frequent, everything around him was devoured by him.

As he continued, the black dots became more and more. They are like nodes but not them. Suddenly, they all stopped and converged in the direction of the centre of the forehead of Jin.

With that, a mark appeared in the centre of forehead and this is the sigil of Jin that proves that he officially stepped in the spiritual transformation realm.
